DESCRIPTION:Professional Women in Construction Chicago is celebrating 5 years of supporting and connecting women in the AEC industry! The Chicago Chapter of Professional Women in Construction was founded in 2021 and now has 650 active members and 49 sponsor companies. Join the Board\, Committee Leaders\, and Members for the Annual Membership Meeting at the historic Woman's Athletic Club (WAC)\, where we will celebrate an incredible 5 years of our organization and preview what the future holds.\nThis Member-Only event is a chance to hear updates directly from Board President Kasie Mathena\, network with chapter leadership\, meet fellow members\, and learn about ways to get more involved in the organization. This casual morning event will feature a presentation from the board and other keynote speakers as well as opportunities to learn more about the variety of committees that ensure PWC Chicago achieves its mission of supporting\, advancing\, and connecting women and promoting diversity in the AEC industry. \nThis meeting will also offer an opportunity to network with other members over light breakfast bites and coffee. The event will offer an opportunity to share feedback and we look forward to creating a bright future for PWC Chicago with your help. \nFounded in 1898\, the WAC was the first athletic club for women in America. In 1929\, the WAC found its current location and hired renowned architect Philip B. Maher to design a building specifically to its members' needs. An architectural treasure with Beaux-Arts and Art Deco elements\, the Clubhouse was awarded Landmark status in 1991.\nJoin us this September to shape the future of the PWC Chicago chapter.This is a PWC Member Event.
